quoraEvery now and then something completely out of the blue happens that shows me I’m going in the right direction.

Here’s how it went down:

Cindy King, Sr. Editor at Social Media Examiner, asked me to contribute something for a post she’s writing on Social Media tools that have come out in the last 6 months. I turned it in yesterday.

Over the weekend, Keri Jaehnig, of Idea Girl Media, satisfied client, friend, and one of the most dedicated Social Media researchers I’ve ever met, invited me to Quora.

I’m In Love.

Here’s what I’m saying for Social Media Examiner:

Quora, an online knowledge hub for mostly Social Media and Technology, is a tall glass of water. People ask insightful questions and exchange substantive answers. I was starting to feel like I was in a Social Media desert of genuine thought because of all the noise and this has risen to quench my thirst for knowledge admirably.

I’d been planning on writing a post this morning about Quora and with all of us snowed in priorities have temporarily shifted. I mean, how often are you snowed in when you live outside of Atlanta Georgia?!

I checked my mail not too long ago and discovered that Chris Brogan, of all people, is now following me on Quora and he published an insightful post about it today: How Quora Could Get Interesting

Please do check it out if this sounds interesting to you. And if you do, please let me know you did! I’d love to follow you there.
