Claire and Birthdays in NYC posed really important questions yesterday in reference to the Google+ short links video I posted.

They asked about business pages for Google+
I’d been hearing how Google is going to roll out business pages, but see lots of people creating the Facebook equivalent of personal profiles for their businesses. I’ve stayed away from doing this, but only because Mike Stelzner of Social Media Examiner’s waiting too! He’s brilliant with staying on top of the trends so I trust his judgement in this.
While I was researching about business pages on Google+ I discovered this:
Google+ Entity Profile Application Link
This is my Friday Love Letter to you: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dGY5QUU2SHR3X21NeERpWGRNcDNZTVE6MQ&ndplr=1#gid=0
Now apply if you want a business page and make me proud!!

Thanks so much for the post. The URL you listed to Google worked. The other links I tried came back with this reply
“It looks like the form “Google+ Entity Profile Application” is turned off.Try contacting the owner of the form if you think this is a mistake. ”
I was able to put in an application. Got my fingers crossed.
Thanks again,

I’m so glad you did Mike!! Shortly after I posted this late last night a lot of people told me they had to try several times to get in. Furthermore, that Google’s going to close up shop with this tonight. Google’s servers actually got overwhelmed with requests! Can you imagine?
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m going to be doing a lot more with Google+ as it continues to develop. Have a great weekend!
I applied! Thanks Lori and I’ll see you there π
Yay!! I find I’m liking Google+ better and better. More intellectually stimulating conversations. I love fun and games, but there IS more, as you know. π
Lori, this is a great resource you’ve shared. However, I’m thinking I’ll just stay as myself for now. G+ just feels different and I’m enjoying interacting with just people (GREAT people), not brands/organizations. I might change my mind later. I’m usually a mid-way adopter, not an early adopter anyway!
Thanks! I understand. It’s a process that takes more time than being an ultra early adopter. Gives you more time for your expert copywriting! π
