Are you in the process of learning how to use Facebook for business as well as for purely social relaxation online?
Lots of people are seeking to understand the differences between a Facebook Fan Page and their Profile, because they function very differently.
I get some of the best questions on my Facebook Fan Page and try to answer them all via Posts or directly, so if you need help figuring out how to use Facebook for business, please just ask. It’s free.
Joe from Right Home Inspections asked me this question recently:
Let’s say I’m on someone else’s site, reading an article or watching a video. On their site, there is a share button so I can post it right to Facebook. The problem is, it posts to my profile, and I don’t see a way to direct it to my fanpage instead.
What I post to my profile, does not show up on my fanpage.
Here’s what you do:
- Open the article or video on another browser tab.
- Copy the URL
- Go to your Page view
- Reference your friend (where you saw the post) with a “@” in front of their name and/or Fan Page
- Include the link
- Click “Share”
That’s it! If you want it to post to your Profile as well, then share it via Facebook’s “share” button and it will automatically post there.
Does this help?
