Your Time is NOW

Clock that says right here, right now!For all you brand builders in need of a loving kick in the pants to get you unstuck, you have my undying love and support.

I know. I’ve been there. I’ve studied, researched, re-researched, interviewed, brainstormed, and procrastinated like a pro. I know you.

I’ve wrestled over the very best, most ethical, most effective, most amazing, most up-to-the-minute ways to build my reputation online and even wrote a book about it after they came to me, ([amazon_link id=”1118338596″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Online Reputation Management For Dummies[/amazon_link]) offering me a book deal (because I’d been building my brand online, no doubt). And still I wrestle with this problem on occasion. Social media is a moving target and there’s always something I can over-analyze and get perfectionistic about. Like I said, I’m no different from you. I just have been around the block a few times and have learned a couple survival guides.

Here’s my best, most effective, never-fail survival guide for creating your own buzz online for your noble products and services. It’s never failed for the hundreds of people I’ve helped, in one way or another.

Getting Unstuck

Survival Guide: How to Get Unstuck

  1. Focus on one social influence idea that excites you. You will know which one because you’ll see the what that next step is. You don’t have to see the entire trip in utmost before you make the first step, because building your brand’s name online is a fluid process.  Just roll with it and keep moving.
  2. Allow yourself to put the rest of your great PR ideas on a proverbial bookshelf for the time being.
  3. Treat yourself with kindness and a sense of humor as you do this. Unless there’s a huge opportunity that you will miss out on if you don’t act BIG and immediately. If that’s the case, work with me and my magic Elves on loan from Santa Claus. I’ll get you up and going.
  4. Use tutorials or farm out work via trading talents, virtual assistants, or even friends who want to help, where possible.
  5. Stop overanalyzing. And…

Just. Finish. Something. Imperfectly… Your Time is NOW.

Let’s do this!
