Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages… I am tickled pink to present
The Literally Social show!
After months of working closely with Dave Thackeray, The Podcast Guy, and spending untold hours of traversing a learning curve so steep that I dare not look down, I am now hosting and a podcast, Literally Social, that features influential women authors with strong social media platforms. In these interviews, they dish their best social media savvy and tips for authors and anyone who wants to successfully create a thriving social media platform.
When I spoke at Blog World Expo in May, I was blown away by the number of authors who approached me afterward asking me for tips on how to promote their social media platform. These are award winning, well respected authors, but the publishing industry has changed so much even in the last 3 years, that virtually no one can get published without a strong social platform. That’s where I come in. Literally Social is the place for seasoned authors, aspiring authors, bloggers, wannabes, publishers, literary agents, book coaches, and anyone interested in writing, as well as great tips for anyone that wants to grow their social media presence in a big (and beautiful) way.
I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing four award-winning, influential authors so far:
- Phyllis Khare, co-author of Facebook Marketing All-in-One for Dummies
- Anene Tressler, author of Dancing with Gravity
- Andrea Vahl, a/k/a Grandma Mary, co-author of Facebook Marketing All-in-One for Dummies
- Jennifer Wilkov, author of Dating Your Money
Many more are already scheduled to interview on the show!
Are you an influential woman author who has something to say about how to build a social platform? Are you willing to share the kind of wisdom that you wish you’d known before you wrote your first book? Would you like to nominate an author to be featured on the Literally Social show? If so, please apply by contacting me here.
Here is today’s podcast, the first of a weekly series that will absolutely thrill you if you’re interested in writing and getting really seen in social media. The podcast is at the bottom of this post. You can also download it and share very easily.
