Ajit “Artful Dodger” Bails on CES 2018 in new Twist

Pai’s secret meeting with Big Telecomm

A few weeks ago, in an historic selling out of the Information Age as we know it, Agit, Artful Dodger to his friends, Pai willfully ignored the unanimous advice of the world’s most respected network architects and torpedoed the time-honored, level playing field structure of Net Neutrality.

What IS Net Neutrality?

According to Wikipedia,

Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers must treat all data on the Internet the same, and not discriminate or charge differently by user, content, website, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or method of communication.[4] For instance, under these principles, internet service providers are unable to intentionally block, slow down or charge money for specific websites and online content.

The term was coined by Columbia University media law professor Tim Wu in 2003, as an extension of the longstanding concept of a common carrier, which was used to describe the role of telephone systems.[5][6][7][8]

Last night

Bryan Menegus of Gizmodo reported that after half a decade of attending CES (the world famous Consumer Electronics Show), Pai bailed on his promised appearance, artfully dodging “candid conversations” with with acting chairman of the Federal Trade Commission Maureen K. Ohlhausen and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association Gary Shapiro.

That’s OK, Pai, there are millions of us who are eager to restore Net Neutrality. And, for my part, I’m creating a podcast this month called “Cattywampus” where top Network architects, engineers, and authorities will share their best tips for navigating during these dangerously beautiful times until Net Neutrality can be restored.

“Please Sir! I want some more (bandwidth)”

If you’re interested in participating, I’m welcoming all well researched opinion pieces, infographics, and potential guests. Will happily credit all sources and provide links to them. Let’s restore network neutrality!

If you share my enthusiasm for restoring Net Neutrality and hearing from top experts on how we can adapt our strategies until that magical day appears, then please subscribe and share:
