This Back to School with Google+ is the first in a series of posts that will take you from your very first sign up to getting deep into your settings for the most satisfying results. I’m giving you the benefit of my time and experience with social networks so you can get the same results much faster and easier. Because I’m nice like that. Plus, I’m writing a Google+ book for Amazon and you all ask good questions!
Google+ still in Beta, but the community is growing fast and NOW is the time to create your profile and customize it so that you can have the kind of experience you want.
Why Google+?
Google+ fascinates me more than any other platform because it combines the best attributes of Twitter, Facebook, Blogging, YouTube, and Tumblr. There’s no telling what’s going to happen with it or what exciting new approaches people are going to take. I learned recently about an ongoing cooking hangout that’s like a podcast, kind of like a blog, sort of like YouTube, and supercool because it’s live. People love that kind of energy and I can’t wait to explore hangouts in a lot more detail.
We’ve only just begun to scratch the surface. Now is the time to dive in.
